WHAT IS A CSA?
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, which is a form of mutual partnership between farmers and consumers. Rather than go through several layers of middle men, consumers make a commitment to directly support an individual farm by providing money, up front, for their yearly operating budget. In exchange they receive a dividend of the freshest produce possible.
WHAT WE OFFER
C&T Produce CSA members receive a weekly box of the freshest veggies and fruits available. Not like some CSAs where a lot of your weekly box is greens and unfamiliar items.... By helping us with start up costs, you are guaranteed to get the biggest and best of the weekly yield. Tomatoes, Melons, Peaches, Sweet Corn. Lots of variety! Things you will enjoy. Usually a tomato box full, maybe more!!! We use conventional farming techniques... Limited herbicide and pesticide use, read about our growing methods.
CSA MEMBER COMMENT
“Loved the Boxes!!! This was my first year doing this, so wasn't sure what to expect. I was never let down. Great variety and every week, would manage to use everything in the box (some corn and squash in freezer for winter). Every Wednesday was like Christmas, couldn't wait to see what was in the box.”
“We absolutely love Wednesdays, because that is when we get our CSA box! We have been able to fall in love with some veggies we had never used before and have even been able to freeze some for this winter! It so wonderful to eat FRESH produce and we couldn't be happier about our decision to get our CSA!”
